Afrika Law Review
CALL FOR PAPERS
The editors of the Afrika Law Review (AfLR), now, invite submissions for its inaugural issue. We welcome original, high-quality and impactful contributions from authors that address pressing legal issues, foster critical debate, and propose innovative solutions within African and global contexts.
Submission Type
The Afrika Law Review accepts original articles containing not more than 8,000–10,000 words, including references.
Submission Guidelines
- Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished work and not under consideration elsewhere, contribute to legal scholarship.
- Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format, double-spaced, in Times New Roman, 12-point font.
- Referencing style: Citations should follow the OSCOLA (Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities) referencing style. Bluebook citation may also be accepted.
- Abstract: Articles briefs must include an abstract of 150–250 words.
- Language: Submissions must be in English.
- Author Details: Include a cover page with the author’s name, institutional affiliation, contact information, and a brief bio (100 words).
