The Leitner Center for International Law and Justice is pleased to once again accept applications for the Crowley Program in International Human Rights. Unique among American law schools, the Crowley Program enrolls students in an intensive one-year academic exploration of human rights theory, practice, and advocacy. The Crowley Program’s Annual Human Rights Fact-Finding Project engages six to eight Fordham Law students in hands-on human rights fact-finding and investigation and prepares these students for a career in international human rights. Over the past 15 years, students from the Crowley program have traveled to examine contemporary human rights issues in 14 countries in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
Eligible applicants, including all 1L (Day or Evening) and 2L Evening students, may apply by submitting a cover letter, resume, reference information, transcripts and a writing sample according to program guidelines. Applications will be evaluated based on each student’s demonstrated interest in international human rights; maturity, discipline, and organizational skills; as well as their academic performance. Applications must be submitted by Friday, May 3rd.
