Fordham Law School’s central New York City location puts it in close proximity to the world’s leading human rights organizations, as well as the United Nations and a myriad of governmental and non-governmental agencies. The Leitner Center capitalizes on this prime location by inviting leading international human rights academics and practitioners to participate in the Leitner International Law Lecture Series and distinguished panel discussions.
The Leitner Center’s Brown Bag Lunch Speaker Series hosts activists and scholars from around the world as a way to foster dialogue on today’s pressing human rights issues. Along with the Brown Bag Lunch Series, the Leitner Center hosts and co-sponsors major international conferences and film screenings in contemporary human rights research and law.
