ThirtyFive Students to do Human Rights Work this Summer with Leitner Funding

NEW YORK, NY (April 22, 2010) – The Leitner Center for International Law and Justice annually funds student internships in international human rights. The Leitner Center’s Internship Program provides students with $5,000 grants to work with international human rights organizations full-time for ten weeks.

This summer, thirty-five students will receive funding from the Leitner Center to do international human rights work. This year, students will work on a wide range of important global issues in Australia, Austria, Northern Ireland, Hungary, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, Israel, Malawi, Nepal, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Sierra Leone, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda and the United States.
