Writers Wanted: Leitner Center Human Rights Blog

December 17, 2014 (New York, NY) – Are you passionate about human rights? Have something interesting or unique to say? Apply now to write for the new Leitner Center human rights blog!

The Leitner Center for International Law and Justice is excited to launch a human rights blog in early 2015, and is seeking Fordham Law student staff writers for the spring 2015 semester. Staff writers will write approximately two posts per month, be required to attend bi-monthly pitch meetings and may be asked to cover breaking human rights news. If selected, you will have the editorial freedom to produce both analytical and creative entries, including legal analysis, news recaps, opinion pieces, reviews, interviews, photo essays and regular columns. Law students at Fordham Law School are eligible to apply.

Interested? Please submit a cover letter, resume and 1-2 writing samples (clips preferred; academic samples of up to 5 pages accepted) in a single pdf file to Elizabeth Gyori at egyori@law.fordham.edu. The deadline to apply has been extended to Wednesday, January 14, 2015.
