Lieutenant Colonel Steven Gariepy, Assistant Professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, will discuss these and other issues, drawing on his experiences in Afghanistan for a first-hand account of the way in which the U.S. and its NATO allies have sought to address the legal and humanitarian challenges associated with military action.
