Speaker: Jennifer Cabrera, Founder and Partner at Cabrera Cammarota PLLCThe river running through the middle of the picture separating Juarez, Mexico (at the top of the picture) from El Paso, TX (at the bottom) is the Rio Grande. Taken from 36,000 feet looking south.

Private and public international law often intersect in numerous ways, influencing changes in both business, politics, international relations and society. Transnational arbitration has the power to alter domestic laws and entire sectors. New developments in international commercial contracts in New York have had cross-border consequences. For example, the Commisa v. Pemex case, which was annulled in Mexico but enforced in New York, precipitated Mexico’s reform of its energy sector. Jennifer Cabrera, Founder and Partner at Cabrera Cammarota PLLC, an international litigation and arbitration practice, will discuss the intersection of private and public international law at this Brown Bag Lunch event.

Kosher pizza will be served.
